Letter from President

Dear Colleagues,

As we anticipated, 2011 has been unfolding as a challenging time in the nonprofit sector, with continuing uncertainty fueled by external political and economic conditions.  Nevertheless, the general trends for the sector are definitely on a positive growth track, and hopeful.  Nonprofits are building capacity, again and anew.

2012 appears even more promising. We, at PNP,  would like to work with you to seize the opportunities ahead by ensuring that you have the talented and skilled staff in place to be successfully responsive to the demands of our changed environment.

In September 2011, PNP released the remarkable results of a significant survey we conducted during the summer, “The Good NonProfit Job Report.” We believe that knowing what matters most to employees, and what they consider essential to be fully engaged in their jobs, helps managers determine how to ensure top-level performance. We know that this makes a great deal of difference to the bottom line!

PNP has strengthened our capacity to serve you – to assist you in developing and implementing strategies that use your resources most effectively in a still-changing and competitive marketplace.

We look forward to partnering with you in 2011 – 2012 to help you build for a better future!
